          OPENING SCENE. EXT. COTTAGE

          A small cottage can be seen surrounded by the outlines of
          sharp trees, deep in the forest. The leaves have fallen from
          the trees, it is autumn. A woman can be seen looking from a
          window of the cottage.

          INT. COTTAGE - MANTELPIECE - PHOTOS (2D?)

          In her home, pictures displayed on the mantelpiece tell her
          story. The first few, of warm bright colours, show her
          marrying her husband, and the first days in her new home. It
          is spring/summer.

          The final photo shows a contrast: she is tending lovingly to
          her garden outdoors while her husband is indoors working.

          INT. COTTAGE - BEDROOM

          The woman is now sitting in the lonely, cold bedroom with a
          picture frame in her hands. The space next to her is empty,
          but looks as though someone lay there recently.

          She puts the photo on the bedside table.

          She is starting to be come a little see-through/faded, as
          she thinks back.

          INT. COTTAGE - BEDROOM - PHOTOS (2D?)

          The photos show her husband busy working and the woman
          trying to get his attention by showing him an unusually
          coloured rose she found in her garden.

          The man pays no attention to her and continues to work.

          INT. COTTAGE - WINDOWSILL

          A blue rose sits in a vase on the windowsill, it looks like
          it is dying as a petal or two falls.

          The woman picks up the rose and examines it in her hands.

          She notices the rose deteriorating and her hands becoming
          more and more see-through.

          INT. COTTAGE - MANTELPIECE - PHOTOS (2D)

          A final picture frame shows the woman waving goodbye as her
          husband leaves.

          She sees the rose sitting at the table where he used to
          work.

          INT. COTTAGE - LIVING ROOM

          Looking out of the cold window, the woman looks sad, and
          starts to disappear.

          EXT. COTTAGE

          She goes out the door, the blue rose in her hand, and plants
          it in the snow.

          She disappears.

          The flower starts to bloom again, and the snow melts away
          where it is standing.
